Project Zwaagdijk – DN1400 tapping saddles
Commissioned by PWN and A. Hak Water & Gastechniek, we supplied specially developed tapping saddles (Ø1595 mm) for the WRK III drinking water transport pipeline in North Holland. This solution made it possible to safely access the pipeline over a length of 250 metres without cutting through the concrete pipeline. Our saddles successfully passed the rigorous test: completely watertight under 12 bar pressure for 3 hours.
